All the fun of the fair

Ever been stuck for something to do with your ice rink during the summer? Follow New York’s lead and transform it into a traditional family amusement park.

In Central Park sandwiched between the Central Park Zoo, numerous playgrounds and the carousel is Victoria Gardens at Woollman Rink a little summer time gem.

We took B when school was still in session and had a surprisingly exclusive free reign over the park. I’m not sure we would be quite so lucky if we went back now!

Needless to say B absolutely loved the rides, which I would say are all for children of around kindergarten age. It was so cute watching him being able to go on any ride he wanted and not be told he was too little.

He certainly relished in his newfound independence and carefully chose which ride after ride he wanted to go on next.
