You can’t live in the concrete jungle and not spend at least
some of your time visiting the top of the skyscrapers.
We’ve done most of the popular ones now including the World
Trade Centre and the Empire State Building but the Rockefeller Centre is definitely
a firm favourite.
Its not my favourite building from outside, but once on the
roof you get to look out over the other buildings such as the iconic Empire State
Building and Chrysler Building and around the other side you get to view
Central Park.
Another bonus with the Rockefeller is you can benefit from
both indoor and outdoor viewing areas, and there is plenty of space on three different
levels for all the visitors.
Now I’m a fan of Central Park at all times of the year, but
after a recent visit during fall, we decided to head to the Top of the Rock
specifically to gaze over the park in its full autumnal glory. As you can see from our photos below, we
weren’t disappointed.
